The Lucky Stars, Dippers, Cheer North, Rhythmic Gymnastics program and the Pittsburgh Northstars. Our goal is to make participation at Jewart's a meaningful and memorable experience for each child. We believe that gymnastic training is the best way to develop a child's talents and prepare them for a world of possibilities. Whether they stay with us until they are ready for graduation, or move on to explore other activities that better suit their body type and interests as they mature, we will provide them with great fun, wonderful learning opportunities and memories that will last a lifetime. To help us accomplish this goal, we have assembled a talented team of coaches, who are dedicated to your gymnast and your family. These coaches have a variety of experiences that will help your child reach his dreams. Some of our qualifications include: Teaching degrees in education, psychology and physical education Former gymnastic competitors with USAG, NCAA and the FIG Years of experience in the gymnastics field as teachers, coaches & parents. Our coaches are certified professionals, with knowledge of up to date techniques, safe progressions, spotting and demonstrating ability, and specific knowledge in child development, psychology and motivation. Another important component of our program is our unique training facility. We are equipped with multiple teaching stations of apparatus that provide safe and efficient learning sessions. Children learn faster in our environment because each lesson allows them numerous opportunities to build skill and confidence. Our equipment for the recreation classes is lower, softer, easy to mount and dismount, user friendly and loads of fun. For our competitive teams we have state of the art training equipment. Combined with our staff and facility is our planned curriculum. As children progress through the various programs we offer, they will receive instruction specifically tailored to their age group and stage of development. To help parents understand the complexities of the sport we provide open houses, monthly calendars, newsletters and website information. Oh, and let's not forget to mention fun.
