About Us
OUR FACILITY
Established in 1969, Jewart’s Gymnastics is located on more than four acres in Allison Park and features a 30,000-square-foot facility designed to serve athletes of all ages and levels.
The campus includes both a dedicated team gym and a recreational gym, complete with a climbing wall.
Jewart’s offers a wide variety of programs, including preschool, recreational, co-ed, boys, girls, rhythmic, cheer, tumbling, trampoline & tumbling (TNT), Xcel, and competitive girls’ and boys’ teams, as well as climbing. The facility is also home to The Wild Woods Forest Kindergarten program, which provides a unique, nature-based learning experience for young children.
The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art resources, including:
- Gymnastics apparatus: 3 large foam pits, 1 junior foam pit, 2 competition spring floors, a rhythmic floor, 4 sets of uneven bars (2 competition), 7 competition balance beams, 7 floor balance beams, 3 sets of parallel bars (2 competition), 5 high bars (including a pit bar, strap bar in a drop pit, and junior bar), 1 junior crossbar station, 3 rings stations (one over a pit, 1 competition, and 1 junior), 2 competition vault tables, 4 pommel horses (1 competition), 1 buck pommel, 8 competition mushrooms, 2 midsize mushrooms, and 3 mini mushrooms.
- Additional training equipment: 3 tumble traks (2 full, 1 junior), 2 competition trampolines, 1 double mini trampoline, and a rod floor.
- Specialized areas: A 12,000-square-foot team gym, a 10,000-square-foot recreational gym, a dedicated 5,000 square foot climbing area, a pommel room, and 2 air-conditioned preschool rooms.
- Climbing features: A climbing wall with cave, plus 3 auto-belay climbing walls.
- Technology & support: Video-monitored gyms and an on-site physical therapist to support athlete health and wellness.

Mrs. Elaine Jewart
Owner - President
Starting her 56th year of business as owner of Jewart's Gymnastics and 32nd year as owner of Climb North, Mrs. Elaine Jewart is a Hall of Fame athlete from Slippery Rock University, recognized for pioneering gymnastics. She is a distinguished recipient of Pennsylvania's 50 Best Women in Business, an award winner from the Women and Girls Foundation for "Leveling the Playing Field" for women and a top 25 Women in Pittsburgh honoree.
In addition to her business achievements, she has been happily married to the love of her life for 59 years. She is the mother of 5 and the best "grand" to 10!

Katie Hilko
Director of Gym Operations
With studying the family business model for years, Katie brings a fresh perspective to gym operations. In addition to coaching responsibilities, she is in charge of the management of staff, facilities, and scheduling of the day to day tasks of the gym.
Justin Mech
Manager of Climb North
With over 20 years of climbing experience and 20 years working at Climb North, Justin brings a wealth of knowledge to our new and advanced climbing campers. Learn the art of bouldering, auto-belay, and climbing under his tutelage!
Pat Hilko

With an education in Environmental Studies and the love of the outdoors, Pat creates an environment for your child to explore the wonders that nature has to offer.
