Boys Lucky Star 1
7 years +
This beginner boys’ gymnastics class will focus on building skills safely, efficiently, and effectively while having fun. Gymnasts will be working skills and progressions on the parallel bars, high bar, pommel (mushroom), floor, vault, and trampoline. Our goal is for your child to learn proper gymnastics skills while increasing body awareness, strength, flexibility and coordination.
This class meets once a week for 60 minutes.
Lucky Stars 1
7 years +
This 60 minute beginner girls’ gymnastics class will focus on building skills safely, efficiently, and effectively while having fun. Gymnasts will be working on floor exercise, uneven bars, balance beam, and vault as well as Trampoline. Our goal is to teach your child to learn proper gymnastics skills safely while promoting body awareness.
Lucky Stars 2
7 years +
Completion of Lucky Stars 1 or equivalent
This 60 minute advanced beginner girls' gymnastics will continue to develop your gymnast's skills. Class time is spent working on intermediate skills on bars, beam, floor, and vault/trampoline in order to increase strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
Superstars
8 years+
Completion of Lucky Stars 1 & 2
Advanced gymnastics is a great place for your athlete to continue to elevate their gymnastics skills. This class is a 90-minute intermediate class for recreational gymnasts which emphasizes.
skill development for more advanced skills and preparation for our 2-day programs. Along with conditioning skills and fun circuits on all the apparatus, our coaches provide instruction and motivation for drills, progressions, and sequences which build confidence and gymnastic knowledge.
Lucky Star Combo
6-8 year olds
This engaging and dynamic 60 minute class is tailored for young girls aged 6-8 years old. A unique blend of both Rhythmic Gymnastics and Artistic Gymnastics, this program offers a comprehensive and well-rounded experience for aspiring gymnasts, allowing them to explore and develop skills in both disciplines.
Boys Soaring Star
6+ years old; Coach recommended ONLY
This 90 minute class meets two days a week to provide your young male gymnast with an introductory foundation level to competitive gymnastics.
The Soaring Stars program is a pre-developmental competitive team training program to our Pittsburgh Northstars. It is designed to allow our youngest gymnasts a strong foundation which focuses on gymnastics skills necessary to be able to build up to more advanced skills to eventually compete on the six events in men's gymnastics (floor, pommel/mushroom, p-bars, high bar, rings, vault).
After spending quality time in this program, your young gymnast will be ready to join our competitive team program.
